A BIT ABOUT US…
Woodhams Farm Day Nursery is a purpose built barn style nursery, set within an acre of land in the rural surroundings of tranquil Woodhams Farm in Kings Worthy, Winchester.
The nursery first opened its doors in 2007 and has been fortunate enough to offer places to local families and those that commute through Winchester ever since.
In 2012 we added an extension to the nursery in order to keep up with the growing demand for quality early years provision. This added spacious areas for pre-school aged children, a dining area, separate kitchen and further toilets. We are extremely proud of our glowing reputation and pride ourselves on exceeding this daily.
There are now five dedicated base rooms for children from 3 months to 5 years, with other areas that are multi-purpose. Our outdoor space is equally as impressive with a number of garden areas and a large hard surfaced playground. The rural surroundings enhance the ethos of our setting and encourage children to build a love for outdoors and appreciate the calm and simplicity that nature brings.
Our high skilled and dedicated team offer exceptional care and education to our children which has been recognised by Governing body Ofsted. We have received three consecutive outstanding inspections, in 2011, 2015 and most recently in 2020.
